Voltage Inc: Love 365 and the Love Choice controversy

The Love Choice system implemented by Voltage Inc for their newest book Masquerade Kiss, officially released a few hours ago on Love 365 from the Japanese app, has generated a social media war for quite a while now and it definitely won’t cool down anytime soon. The fans who always supported their work because of the rare Pay to Play system are strongly against a “Freemium” mode which will actually force them to pay way more than what a normal, complete story would cost with coins. What is going to happen now?

Article 13 and the future of our internet

I’m sure you have seen this topic over and over again pretty much everywhere in the past month or so, but it’s probably one of the most important and serious matters ever discussed online. Article 13 is going to affect not only creators from Europe, but basically the entire world if it gets approved the way it is. Please keep reading if you want to know more and take part in our movement to stop this madness from happening before it gets too late.

ASUS FX503VM-E4039T Gaming Laptop Review and Alternatives

Today I want to talk about a product that might be of interest for you: the ASUS FX503VM-E4039T gaming laptop. I’ve been a PC gamer for quite some time now and I always preferred desktop computers for their durability and better hardware in general. However, I recently decided to save money for a good laptop in order to have a second machine for my work (better being safe than sorry, right?) and I went for something that I could also use to play new generation games.

Otome Review: Love Brings You Home (Taiyo’s Route)

Love Brings You Home is one of the many Otome titles written by Voltage Inc and currently available on the Love 365 app, which is constantly updating with new series and routes even adding old standalone games into it. Taiyo Inami is one of the characters in the series and I managed to take a look at his main story in the past few days being available for free (it expired, so if you want to read it you have to purchase it).

Travel Journal: Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture

1984, Shropshire (England), Yaughton Valley. Something mysterious happened… something that you as the player need to find out while exploring the now deserted towns. The inhabitants have literally vanished, disappeared without leaving a single trace behind. Your only clue is a bunch of floating orbs of light, swimming in the air and guiding you through the valley’s untold story. Telephones and radios still holding registered reports, pieces of the tale you need to reconstruct to solve the puzzle. This is what Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is about, an Indie title developed by The Chinese Room and SIE Santa Monica Studio, released for PS4 in 2015 and PC the following…

Monty Oum’s Dead Fantasy: A Final Fantasy and Dead Or Alive Crossover

Epic acrobatic battles, magic, adrenaline, mystery… many of you may still remember the incredible Dead Fantasy series, CG product created from scratch by the talented artist Monty Oum and certainly one of the best fanmade animations of all times. His Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts and Dead or Alive crossover still remains in our memories, while Monty sadly is no longer among us due to a physical complication which took him away from this world at a very young age.

    Otome Games: Mystic Messenger

Today I bring you something different from my usual gaming posts. If you happen to be already interested in Japanese/Korean comics and cartoons (originally called manga/manhwa and anime), Otome games could represent a good company for your tiring and lonely days. Mystic Messenger is by far one of the most played adventures of this kind, so get comfy, grab a drink and some tissues on the way, because you’re going to undertake quite a long and deep ride!

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition: Ansel, Performance and Mods

Final Fantasy XV has finally arrived on Windows in its final state, along with an additional pack for console users (Royal Edition) containing a completely remade Chapter 14 and a few special additions along the playthrough. What PC gamers were fearing before the final release was a poor optimization with mediocre performance despite the time they took to polish it, but owning the game myself and running it on a 3yo system I can say Square Enix did exactly what we were promised in the beginning: they allowed older computers to handle it better than any other port from console, although they had to release a new patch afterwards in…

Tomb Raider 2018 Movie VS 2013 Game

The new Tomb Raider movie with Alicia Vikander as lead character, inspired by the video game series released in 2013 by Square Enix and developed by Crystal Dynamics, is officially available in our theatres since March 15th. Many are the feedbacks related to this live action and although the majority of comments posted were not exactly reassuring, I usually try to think with my own head and see things for myself before expressing any sort of judgement. Is it good? Is it bad? Is it worth it? In this article I will compare a few scenes from the movie and the game itself, thus I highly suggest you to not…
